Job Description

We have a new opportunity to be part of our HR team in the role of Talent Acquisition Partner.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Team and Technical Hiring Managers to attract, engage, and recruit top talent for key technical roles across the organization
  • Take ownership of Technical Recruitment and be a valued partner to your stakeholders
  • Actively source and pipeline candidates using innovative techniques to ensure a strong flow of talent
  • Support Early Careers such as Student Placements and Graduate Programme
  • Maximize the candidate experience by providing high-quality communication and engagement throughout the recruitment process
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and organisation structures and tailor search strategies accordingly
  • Advertise live vacancies and screen applicants applying via various job boards
  • Present shortlists and pre screen candidates in order to present an initial shortlist to hiring managers
  • Hold first interviews with selected candidates and present the most suitable candidates to managers to interview
  • Ensure recruitment records are kept updated at all times to ensure accuracy, consistency and transparency and aligned to GDPR requirements
  • Adhere to recruitment policy with regards to agency usage and keep a record of preferred supplier list and ensure that agency use is kept to a minimum
  • Contribute to department-wide objectives and initiatives, helping to continuously improve recruitment processes


What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition/recruitment ideally within the Motorsport, Automotive, Engineering or Aerospace industries (agency or in-house experience considered)
  • Experience of partnering with hiring managers and building trusted relationships
  • Experience of Interviewing candidates at all levels: Demonstrate the ability to build rapport easily and share details about our company, our values and the role
  • Spreadsheet Proficiency: Demonstrate strong skills in spreadsheet formulation and data management
  • Strong track record in candidate management and building talent pipelines
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Show flexibility in adapting to changing demands and environments, and have a proactive approach to solving challenges
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive, and solution-oriented approach
  • Commitment to Health & Safety: Demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations


Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with recruitment in technical sectors such as Formula 1, engineering or automotive
  • Experience with Early Career recruitment programs (student placements, graduate schemes, apprenticeships)
