Project Manager (hospitality)

A leader in the design and development of bespoke luxury hospitality projects, is seeking a Project Manager with a passion for high-end, sustainable tourism experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design and construction of luxury hospitality projects. Oversee all aspects of project management including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with architects, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders. Apply creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth execution of projects. Utilize advanced Microsoft Office and Project Tracking Software to maintain project documentation, progress reports, and timelines. Ensure adherence to local regulations and construction standards, particularly in hospitality projects. Qualifications: Education : Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4. A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is required. Experience : At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in design management, construction, or project management, with a focus on hospitality projects. Professional Accreditation : Registration with SACPCMP as a PrCPM or international equivalent will be advantageous. Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Tracking Software is essential. Strong creative problem-solving skills are necessary. Additional Requirements: Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit for South Africa. A valid passport is required as travel may be necessary.
