Mobile Test Automation Engineer - Functional & Regression Testing

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Lead with expertise in JavaScript and Webdriver.io to lead the automation efforts for mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation frameworks, especially in mobile testing, and possess leadership capabilities to guide a team of testers. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and manage a team of mobile automation testers to deliver high-quality test automation solutions. - Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Webdriver.io and JavaScript. - Automate functional and regression testing for mobile applications across different platforms (iOS, Android). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA, to define and implement test strategies. - Develop and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications to ensure efficient test coverage. - Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated testing. - Identify, document, and report defects, and work closely with developers to resolve them. - Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders. - Mentor and train team members in automation best practices. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile automation testing and tools. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on mobile test automation. - 3 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and Webdriver.io for mobile automation. - Strong knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Detox). - Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts for both iOS and Android platforms. - Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and integrating automation into the pipeline. - Familiarity with cloud-based device farms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) for mobile testing. - Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and QA processes. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Familiarity with Hospitality Domain (ref:hirist.tech)
