Responsibilities

  • Financial lead for project throughout the development process of the project focused on investment and capital markets.
  • Assisting in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, operating agreements and loan documents.
  • Assisting in due diligence for site acquisitions and financing
  • Underwriting and maintaining financial models for new and existing projects
  • Leading the market research component for each project by Asset Class
  • Maintaining financial reporting for each project which include capital calls, monthly reports and business plans.
  • Drafting and Presenting investment memos for new and existing projects to Executive Team
  • Manage interdepartmental onboarding and collaboration
  • Working with accounting on cash management (deposits, outflows & milestones) and Yardi integration
  • Working with legal on miscellaneous contracts and administration (Org Docs, dev agreements, fee agreements, branding, management, etc)
  • Working with development/construction to process construction budgets
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience from a development company, capital markets brokerage and/or investment/PE firm.
  • Willing to work on all aspects of the job finance and development.
  • Real Estate experience required
