KSB Recruitment is looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join a fantastic kitchen team at a vibrant and popular venue located in the heart of Flintshire. Set in a beautiful location, this restaurant and bar offer a mix of classic and contemporary dishes, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head Chef in the daily kitchen operations
• Managing and training kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are maintained
• Creating and delivering high-quality dishes, with attention to detail on presentation and taste
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety standards
• Assisting in menu development and working with fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Overseeing inventory management and supplier orders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced, fresh food environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality dishes and using local ingredients
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a busy kitchen setting
