Summary:

Maxim Park is an office park located on the M8 motorway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, situated on beautiful landscaping are 10 modern office buildings totalling 750,000 square feet. The Park offers grade A office to tenants along with many amenities such as a hotel, gym, coffee shops and putting green to name a few. Maxim Park also host events throughout the year for employees on the park.

The Role:

The Role is for a Sustainability and Community Coordinator


Role Summary:

The role of Sustainability & Community Coordinator is to proactively engage with all key stakeholders and take the lead on further developing, implementing, and reporting on our biodiversity and active travel programmes specifically, as well as supporting the development, delivery and reporting of our wider ESG strategy and initiatives, as we strive to support our tenants on their path to Net Zero and wider sustainable goals.


The Sustainability & Community Coordinator will manage a calendar of engaging events designed to support our key business objectives around managing work-life balance for our onsite tenants. This includes pop-up food events, engaging competitions and our onsite allotment space.


This is a customer focussed role at its core and excellent relationship management is a key component of the role.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving forward the Parks sustainability strategy
  • Managing the Parks travel strategy including public transport, cycling, electrification and car sharing
  • Assisting with creating and running events on site
  • Assisting with the managing of the social media channels
  • Assisting with some administrative work for the daily running of the Park
  • Assisting with some reception duties when required
  • Budget preparation and reporting for work streams and events


Reporting Relationships:

  • Reporting to: Maxim’s Director of Park Services
  • Working alongside the Operations Team, consisting of Facilities-Coordinator and key partners to include site Security Team
  • Supporting our Park asset managers, Shelborn Asset Management’s Director of Sustainability and Community


Background & Experience:

  • Customer facing experience including relationship building
  • Events Management experience
  • Effective Communications skills
  • Innovative ideas around engaging staff – not afraid to think outside the box when coming up with new ideas
  • A good understanding of Sustainability Issues and how they can be integrated into business strategy
  • Ability to prioritise within a multi-tasking environment, flexibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Whilst sustainability experience is desirable, onsite training including Carbon Literacy Training will be offered alongside the support of an offsite Sustainability Director, we’re ideally looking for someone who can actively create an engaging community and work well with our onsite operations team to create a great place to work.

Advertised Salary Range: £26,000 – £27,000
