Group Manager

Group Manager – Surrey - £60k – Independent Education

We are working with a fantastic Independent School catering provider who are on the hunt for a Group Manager in the Surrey area.

About the role:

As Group Manager you will be responsible for a small group of day schools, catering for roughly 1000 pupils and staff. The role is largely Monday – Friday and there is some hospitality along with retail. The Group Manager will be responsible for the oversite and development of a team of 25-30 which includes a Chef Manager in each site.

Ideal Group Manager:

• Experience in Contract Catering ideally in independent schools or B&I.
• Experience in recruiting, training and mentoring staff to create a motivated and high-performing team
• Financial understanding and P&L management along with experience developing budgets
• Proven experience developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience
• Most of all, you will need to be a real foodie!
