Cloud Migration Manager (m/f/d) Work location Frankfurt am Main Berlin Düsseldorf Hamburg Hanover Leipzig Mainz Munich Stuttgart Working hours Full-time (part-time is generally possible), permanent Start date as of now Job ID 2024_0970_02 Work of special value: Your commitment with us You are responsible for cross-divisional migration advice and management You will provide strategic advice and support to the departments concerned You manage the highly complex cloud migration You design the application integration into the hybrid cloud environment (incl. identification and independent management of dependencies, risks and impediments of a complex system landscape) You manage process optimization to continuously improve the migration factory You are responsible for the compatibility of the new cloud-oriented services (connection and connectivity of application systems and implement automation practices) You are responsible for compliance with the applicable strategy, architecture and security specifications (secure-by-design) in the technical implementation of existing and new services You will continuously monitor and optimize the cloud implementation with regard to technical efficiency and cost efficiency Special values: Your qualifications Master's degree or comparable degree in computer science or courses with a focus on information technology Comprehensive understanding of the components and interdependencies of an IT landscape (IT architecture, platforms, solutions), especially cloud computing Very good knowledge of software and methodological developments, business and IT trends and IT market developments, including market participants Very good knowledge of and experience with modern infrastructure and system deployment concepts (CI/CD environments), container platforms and various cloud models Broad technology overview of Azure cloud services and other cloud service providers Very good knowledge and experience in the planning and provision of environments for the development and testing of IT solutions and thus the use of development tools for engineering methods, programming languages, development platforms (e.g. Java; Python; R, etc.) Very good knowledge and experience in the planning and provision of supporting tools and processes for CI/CD pipelines Very good knowledge of design and architecture regarding the integration of interfaces to infrastructure, applications, internal management systems and external sources Very good knowledge of agile methods in IT engineering Experience in (scaled) agile structures Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high level of communication and conflict management skills and ability to work in a team Very good written and spoken German and English skills Valuable work deserves special benefits Remuneration & prospects Remuneration based on the TVöD (depending on your experience, approx. €66,500 to €89,000), bonuses for special achievements, future-oriented job in the public sector with reliable working conditions, permanent employment contract, basic civil servant option, possibility of continuing an existing civil servant relationship (up to A15), extensive further training opportunities New Work Home office options, good technical equipment (e.g. smartphone, tablet, notebook), working hours: 39 hours/week, 30 days' vacation, promotion of compatibility of career and family/work-life balance Additional benefits Company health management, company daycare and childcare facilities, company restaurant, free job ticket Would you like to join our team?
