What will I do?

Reception is the first impression of the hotel a guest will experience so it is crucial you and your team provide an outstanding level of service. Youll be responsible for the guests stay from start to finish, ensuring the guest experience is a good one and deal with any guest issues and complaints accordingly.

Review room allocations and advise on rates, packages and promotions and to maximise revenue as much as possible.

Handle funeral and event enquiries and ensure the team are prepared to handle any hospitality or events bookings that come through correctly.

Is this the role for me?

Previous experience within a front office, reception or front of house position.

Have an outstanding eye for detail and quality standards.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Conflict resolution.

The reception team run the nightly EOD audit therefore you must be good with figures and have cash handling experience. A large part of the role is ensuring the EOD is run correctly and everything is balanced each day.
