Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to project completion.
  • Coordinate daily operations on-site, ensuring that work is performed according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
  • Review project plans and schedules, adjusting as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and change orders.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a focus on hospitality and Class-A office space projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations specific to South Florida.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus
