Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
* Manage retail and restaurant construction projects
* Manages overall client relationship from initial assessment of client needs, through design concept presentations and final delivery of project while ensuring positive client experience.
* Works with design and technical teams to shape and understand the project scope
* Will be presenting and working with client for approved projects
* Establishes and ensures adherence to set budget
* Immediately informs Sr. PM or Project Director and/or client of any potential variances to the budget and makes appropriate modifications
* Manages collections for assigned projects with client and informs Finance Manager if there is an issue with timely collections.
* Identifies and pursues new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
* Will be assigning tasks, oversee work and provide feedback to staff assign to project
* Will be managing and developing a team of 3 to 5 individuals
Qualifications:
* Must have 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
* SCRUM and IT project management backgrounds are not applicable
* Post-graduate experience- not including internship experience
* Must have commercial project experience-Preferably Retail/Restaurant
* Knowledge of project management software. (Building Connected, Procore, Microsoft project)
* Experience writing and negotiating contracts for services, consultants and contractors
* Ability to communicate effectively, manage and lead team members internally and externally with all levels of staff
