Make referrals to financial assistance services for patients with less than 100% coverage. This position will also perform Scheduling duties when needed. Experience Required2 years insurance verification or registration experience in a hospital or physician office. -Knowledge of medical insurance and billing requirements. Proficient in Flowcast, HQ, eCAOS, MISYS, Spheris. - -Knowledge of state and federal medical assistance and health services programs preferred. -Ability to organize, take independent action and project Cooper values to customers andco-workers. Experienced in cardiology scheduling, front desk, and basic knowledge of hospital/physician coding. Bilingual preferred. -Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required.
