As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
* Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
* Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts.
* Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.
* Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors.
* Cleans and washes parts.
* Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment.
* Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Good driving record.
* Customer service skills.
* Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written). Bilingual skills (English and
Spanish) are desirable.
* Possess at least two solid years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge (and/or training)
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
* Prior washer/dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of local area cities and streets is desirable.
