Job Description

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage all phases of high-rise construction projects, from pre-construction planning through to final completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Schedule Development: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, reviewing costs and expenses to ensure projects remain financially viable and on track.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality assurance practices to ensure construction work meets project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and uphold a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential issues or challenges during the construction process and develop effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and change orders, while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project status throughout the construction process.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and support to junior staff and team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the team.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Senior Superintendent role in high-rise new construction will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in high-rise buildings.
