Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center Location: US:PA: Reading Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.00 Shift: DayHours: Days Recruiter Contact: Trevor Smith at hrsolutions@pennstatehealth.psu.edu SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provides chairside, four-handed dental assistance to Dentists in all aspects of dental care, including hands-on patient care, instrument preparation, ordering and stocking supplies, taking x-rays, charting and documentation, and cleaning and sterilization of dental equipment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Successful completion of a dental assistant training program required. Minimum one (1) year of experience working at a dental practice required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):EFDA (Expanded Functional Dental Assistant) license, including radiation license preferred. Current CPR certification preferred. WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
