Chalet Auriane is a luxury chalet, independently owned, which has been offering parties of up to 12 guests (usually 8) memorable ski holidays for several years. Situated directly on the piste in La Tzoumaz, neighbouring Verbier in Switzerland, the chalet is in a stunning location, with views over the whole valley. We fully appreciate the importance of finding the right staff for the chalet who take pride in their role and wish to offer guests a relaxing, friendly and bespoke holiday in a spacious and luxurious environment and we will work as a team with you to achieve this. In return we will provide a supportive and friendly working environment as well as a generous package. The chalet, is generally rented out for 6-8 weeks a season with the owners using it for an additional 2-3 weeks, allowing several unoccupied ''free'' weeks. Staff positions available We are looking for an experienced and friendly couple to manage and run the chalet together: one acting as chef and the other as chalet host. This is a great and rewarding role for those who enjoy providing fine dining and a personal touch for guests in a stunning work location. It is ideal for those with a love for the mountains and whilst close to Verbier, the village has a charming and more personal feel. Chalet Chef: we are seeking an experienced, motivated chef with a real passion for the job who enjoys practising his skills to an appreciative audience. You will be cooking breakfast, afternoon tea & cakes, and a high-quality gourmet four course dinner with wine & coffee (6 days). If necessary, this will also include an earlier tea for children. The role will include advance menu planning with guests and local shopping once a week. Chalet Host: we are looking for a host who enjoys working with people and who has a friendly and positive attitude to make a guest’s holiday truly memorable.
