Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Node.js Senior Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Node.js Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Node.js. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in server-side JavaScript development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating efficient and reliable software solutions. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks. - Design and implement APIs and integrate them with front-end systems. - Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the server-side and client-side components of applications. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. - Identify and address technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. - Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the Node.js ecosystem and share knowledge with the development team. - Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate project timelines, and provide technical guidance. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, assisting in their professional growth and development. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established guidelines. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a minimum of X years of professional experience in building server-side applications. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and knowledge of Node.js and its core principles. - Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks. - Proficient understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in designing and developing APIs. - Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
