Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Android Developer at CDN Solutions Group in Indore. The Lead Android Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, Android design, Android development, software development, and leading a team of developers in creating innovative Android solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Mentor and guide team members in Android development best practices. - Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of solutions. - Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless app experiences. - Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and tools. - Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase quality. - Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing reliable solutions for production and development problems. Qualifications : - Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Android development. - Proficient in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio. - Hands-on experience with mobile application design and development. - Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Certification in Android development or related technologies is a plus. Preferred Skills : - Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. - Knowledge of cloud messaging APIs and push notifications. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Understanding of Google Play submission and app release management.
