Job Description:
Raizan Solutions LLC is seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing & Production Operations for our client. This role offers a unique blend of culinary, manufacturing, logistics, financial acumen, and facilities management skills. The successful candidate will oversee all culinary production at a key culinary center in Brooklyn, NY, managing a team of approximately 80 union employees and working closely with 3 internal managers.
This position requires a strong background in manufacturing, with a focus on driving production processes, monitoring finances, and planning future capital expenditures to enhance and grow the culinary center. This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker passionate about food production, facilities management, and client service, with the opportunity to shape the future of food service delivery within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

Culinary Operations Management:
Lead food production operations across 14+ facilities, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
Collaborate with culinary teams to implement consistent, high-quality menus.

Manufacturing Processes:
Implement efficient production processes that scale while adhering to regulatory standards.
Focus on quality control and operational excellence.

Facilities Management:
Oversee kitchen facilities, equipment, and storage areas.
Coordinate maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Optimize layout and workflow to enhance productivity.

Client Interaction & Future Planning:
Serve as the primary contact for client interactions, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate on future projects and expansions, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing production.
Anticipate client needs and develop strategies to enhance service offerings.

Union Employee Management:
Navigate labor relations, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Foster positive labor relations, addressing concerns equitably.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in large-scale food manufacturing, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
Expertise in menu development and food service operations.
Strong facilities management skills, including knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety regulations.
Exceptional client interaction skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving cost-saving initiatives.
Experience working with unionized labor and navigating labor relations.
Familiarity with the New York market and regulatory environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
