Learning and Development – Training Pathway Designer

MacGregor Black are partnering with an FMCG business, on the search for a Learning and Development – Training Pathway Designer. This is a permanent role based in South London.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine face-to-face learning interventions as part of our central learning pathway, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and aligned with our operational needs.
- Regularly update learning content and tools at all level, ensuring they remain effective and up-to-date.
- Work closely with digital content designers and subject-matter experts to develop and evaluate consistent learning materials.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of nationally recognized programs such as Future MDs, Psychologically Safe Leadership, and Mental Health at Work.
- Assess the effectiveness of L&D interventions, using insights to recommend and implement improvements.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in learning approaches and apply them to enhance our learning pathways.
What are we looking for?
- Experience: 3-4 years in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on designing face-to-face content.
- Design Skills: Expertise in creating interactive, engaging, and operationally relevant learning interventions that align with our Grow Others principles.
- Evaluation Skills: Ability to assess the impact of learning interventions on skills, knowledge, and behaviour, demonstrating their value to the organisation.
- Understanding of L&D: Deep knowledge of adult learning theories, learning solutions, and the role of L&D in an organization.
- Operational Mindset: Ability to create learning solutions tailored to the needs of a busy restaurant environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity: A flair for designing innovative learning solutions that captivate and inspire.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to build relationships and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to producing high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and excellence.
- Curiosity: A drive to continuously learn and stay updated on L&D trends and practices.
- Self-Awareness: A strong sense of personal responsibility for your development and impact.
Salary up to £55k + benefits.
