Credit Controller

Consumer Additions has partnered with one of the UK’s leading fine wine merchants

Looking to add an Credit Control to to there growing team and is looking to expand their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily credit checks and assist with credit checks for new accounts.
• Chase overdue debts via phone and email, maintaining accurate contact records.
• Communicate clearly and engagingly with customers.
• Post daily banking transactions and allocate payments accurately and promptly.
• Regularly reconcile customer accounts and produce debtor reports.
• Ensure all invoices are processed per internal controls and compliance.
• Verify, code, and post wine supplier and overhead invoices in Bevica.
• Post and reconcile freight and duty invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and post employee expenses.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and send remittances.
• Collaborate with the management accountant for timely transaction recording.
• Assist the Finance team with ad hoc projects.

Skills and Experience:

• Highly organised, efficient, and conscientious.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with excellent IT skills (Excel and MS Office 365 essential).
• Patient and flexible to customer and salesperson needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Background in accounting and finance with at least two years of experience.
