Kayla's Children Centre provides education, therapy, recreational and respite services for children with a wide variety of special needs within a Jewish cultural setting. We are looking for a passionate, creative Physiotherapist for our therapy clinic, school and camp programs. Our Therapy Clinic offers a variety of therapies to the school and community, including; physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech, music, ABA as well as a therapeutic pool program. We are a growing organization and department. Our therapists can provide mentorship. For more information about our centre, please visit: https://kaylaschildrencentre.org/ Requirements: · Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy · Minimum 1-2 years experience · Current registration with CPO · Examples of paediatric clinical internships if the candidate is a new graduate · Experience with aquatic therapy or aquatic fitness is an asset- swim/aquafit instruction, hydrotherapy etc. · CME/NDT/Therasuit training is an asset · Experience working with children with diverse abilities including ASD, ADHD, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities. · Demonstrates leadership abilities · Good collaboration skills/communication skills to work in an inter-disciplinary team with education and therapy team. · Manage a varied caseload and meet required timelines · Maintain complete and accurate records according to College guidelines · Communicates effectively in person and via writing and maintains professional relationships with students, family members and school staff · Proficient computer skills for online scheduling and documentation Application deadline: October 15, 2024 Hourly rate: $50.00 - $85.00 Job Type: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
