Licensed Practical Nurse

The Rosen Group is looking to identify an LPN who is licensed in state of NJ or pending the license within 90 days. Location of this growing medical practice is on Long beach Island near Beach Haven, NJ.

WILL CONSIDER A CANDIDATE WITH 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IF WILLING TO HANDLE A VERY ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE.

Hours are 8am-5pm. You’ll be working alongside other LPNs.

Duties include:

*Filter messages left on answering machine

Respond to Patient Portal inquiries

*Create detail encounter messages to providers from patients

*Review and complete medical forms ex. DMV & Disability

*Facilitate transition of care for Hospital discharges

Establish Physician to Physician contact

Triage sick and emergent patients as needed

Review vaccine logs

Log vaccine temperature on refrigerator and freezer

*Respond to Hospital calls

*Prepare external lab scripts as patient presents for date of service, prepare lab slips for future Lab appointments

*Respond and review Radiology Urgent findings, improper orders and faxing scripts

*Communicate with patients who did not receive orders via mail

*Patient request for Diagnostics, Labs and other ancillary testing

Request records on behalf of providers

Schedule appointments as requested by providers

Contact Emergency room when patient is being referred for services

Radiology Authorizations

*Schedule ancillary testing as requested by provider

Immunizations/Therapeutic injections

Act as liaison to Medical Assistants for complex questions

Mail results & fax orders as requested
