Job Description
One of London’s oldest contracting businesses trading over 100 years, our client are an industry recognised brand having delivered some of the UK’s and London’s most Iconic projects. They hold a very strong portfolio and track record of delivering major Data Centre schemes as both GC and MEP Subcontractor. Five core services areas are Engineering Services, Technologies, Infrastructure, Residential and Hotels, Facilities Management.
Holding its Engineering values in high regard, they are the go-to contractor for major projects due to their unique model which maintains holding a large core of direct workforce and skilled Engineering and management teams.

Role: Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Manager - £300 - £400 per day (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Role/Responsibilities:
* Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
* Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
* Technical submittals
* RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
* Value Engineering where applicable
* Programming of works – ensuring projects meet key deadlines
* Health and Safety
* Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub-contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Surveyor.
* Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
* Progress meetings with sub-contractors, client and internal meetings
* Overseeing commissioning stages and handover stages
The ideal candidate:
* Will be familiar working in a fast pace environment
* Must have significant experience working within fire alarms & sprinklers
* Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2m within your own discipline
* A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
* The candidate will show longevity in previous employment
