Recreation Vehicle Service Technician

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Service Technician on behalf of our client, a growing trailer company. Please find more information regarding the position below: Job Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair recreational vehicles. Aluminum and steel welding and fabrication of trailers and accessories. Structural repair, landing gear assemblies repair or maintenance and trailer frames repair or maintenance. Suspension systems, brakes & bearings packs, tires, hubs, axles replacements, exterior reskinning, landing gear assemblies repair or maintenance and trailer frames and bodies. There may also be troubleshooting and diagnosing repair of RV gas/water heater, refrigeration systems, carpentry, appliances, plumbing, electrical, plumbing and electrical type work. Diagnostic tasks on equipment and trailers, create a maintenance plan. Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. Qualifications: Applicant should be mechanically inclined. Previous aluminum & steel frame welding experience, an asset. Dedicated to continual improvement. Having a Journeyman RV Technician Red Seal certification is an asset, but not required. Will also consider welding and electrical experience. 1 year of experience working as an RV Technician. Previous electrical experience, an asset. Must have their own tool box and sufficient tools to do the basic mechanical repairs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and manufacturer specifications. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
