Job Description

About Pact:

Pact Coffee works with the world’s finest farmers to bring outstanding speciality coffee to homes, hospitality venues and workplaces across the UK at a fair price, while improving lives and safeguarding farmers’ futures at origin.

For 12 years, we’ve been challenging ‘Big Coffee’ and leading the charge to reform the industry. By putting the needs of farmers first, rather than market investors, we can provide our customers with a quality of speciality coffee they won’t find anywhere else. Our growing multi-channel strategy (DTC, Ecommerce, Grocery, Hospitality, Offices and Wholesale) means that we can reach more and more customers and increase our social impact.

We are a B Corporation with a carbon-neutral roastery, and all our packaging is fully recyclable. Our focus on sustainability extends to the farmers we work with, many of whom champion planet-first practices.

Welcome to better coffee. Better for farmers, better for the planet, and better for you.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Hospitality Account Manager to join our lean but exceptional sales team. In this role, you’ll manage and grow our portfolio of hospitality accounts, ensuring they receive top-notch support while identifying opportunities for expansion. You’ll be an expert advisor on new site launches and staff training. Your mission: to strengthen Pact’s position as the UK's top speciality coffee partner in hospitality, ensuring every partnership thrives.

Responsibilities:

You will be an integral part of our team and mission, growing our B2B Hospitality channel by building strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction, loyalty and retention. You’ll be responsible for the following three key areas:

  1. Client Growth and Retention: Partner with our existing hospitality clients nationwide, focusing on driving growth and retention through exceptional quality, service and engagement. Your ability to identify gaps and leverage a referral mindset will be essential in growing this channel.
  2. Flawless Account Management: Ensure seamless launches and relationship-building within key accounts, supporting both new wins and long-standing partnerships. You'll maintain frequent, high-quality contact with clients through site visits, training sessions, events, and virtual communications (calls, emails, online content).
  3. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer services teams to ensure every B2B hospitality client receives VIP-level service. You'll contribute to making Pact Coffee the go-to choice for hospitality, recognised as best-in-class within the sector.

Requirements

You’ll be perfect fit if you:

  • Have 2-3 years of experience in account management.
  • Are experienced in coffee, and are particularly skilled with traditional espresso equipment.
  • Bonus if you hold an SCA Barista Intermediate qualification!
  • Are passionate about food and drink, especially coffee.
  • Are very personable, and confident in your ideas.
  • Can communicate effectively, and have a proactive approach.
  • Are a fast learner, eager to apply your coffee training to real-world scenarios.
  • Thrive in a team environment, actively contributing to team decisions and goals.
  • Are driven to exceed targets and metrics, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Are organised, strategic, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Excel in working cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
