Interior Designer

The highly acclaimed Interior Design studio located in Vancouver, BC is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Interior Designer to join the team We are looking for an Interior Designer that can work on multiple high-end projects simultaneously (residential, hospitality AND multi-family design). This is a full-time position and only local candidates should apply. Job description: Work with the design team to produce innovative, highly creative and bespoke interior design projects Support the design team by drafting thorough and detailed construction drawing packages Coordinate with external team such as architects, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers Source finishes, furniture and FF&E Model spaces in SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop, or other rendering programs Work collaborative and independently to achieve project deadlines Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Must be local to Vancouver, BC Minimum 5 years’ experience Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software Knowledge of Sketch-Up, Photoshop and InDesign Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and millwork packages Understanding of BC Building Code Familiarity with Hospitality, Retail and Residential Design (Multi-Family and Single Family) A keen eye for detail Excellent time management skills Strong communication skills.
