Electrical Project Coordinator/Designer

An opportunity for an Electrical Project Coordinator/Designer to join an established electrical contractor. Your new company: Our client boasts over 30 years of experience in the Electrical Construction Industry, successfully completing a wide range of projects. Their portfolio includes Office Buildings, High-rise Residential and Mixed-Use Developments, Retail Spaces, Building Renovations, Institutional Facilities, Hotels, Warehouses, Entertainment Complexes, and Sports Facilities. Additionally, they maintain a fully operational Service Department and provide comprehensive education and training for all employees. Your new Role: We are looking for an individual who will be joining this well-established team as an Electrical Project Coordinator/Designer. In this role, you will be assisting Project Managers with a variety of administrative tasks including job binders, setup jobs in paper flow systems, permits, manuals, and tender forms. You will organize and track shop drawings, distributing them as needed. You will also perform data entry and update project drawings, purchase orders, and job schedules. On top of your coordination duties you will be assisting with design – developing detailed electrical designs and layouts, creating and reviewing drawings and ensuring that designs comply with local codes and standards. What you’ll need to Succeed: To succeed as the Electrical Project Coordinator, you will bring 1 years of experience in Project Coordination or Electrical Design. You will have be familiar with Revit, MS Office, AutoCAD, Accubid and MS Office. You will be highly organized and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. An Electrical Engineering degree, diploma or relevant education is an asset.
