About Our Client
My client is a quickly growing general contractor specializing in negotiated retail construction projects. Their team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. The company prides itself on their ability to complete projects on time and within budget, while providing outstanding customer service. With over $100 million in annual revenue expected next year, they are beginning to break into doing multifamily and hospitality projects, and are seeking an experienced and ambitious Retail Project Manager to join our team.
Overview:
- Project Location: Mainly Midwest but they have projects nationally
- Leadership: Growth minded, and have backgrounds working for some of SE WI's best GCs
- Size: $70M but rapidly growing
- Reputation: They do mostly repeat work with well know clients
- Major clients: Chipotle, Panera Bread, ect.
Job Description
- Manage pre-construction activities.
- Prepare estimates and manage bidding for lump sum and negotiated contracts.
- Prepare project schedules.
- Negotiate, award and prepare subcontract agreements.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Work in conjunction with project field superintendents to ensure compliance and successful project completion.
- Project cost and change management.
- Project close out
- Knowledge of all relevant safety guidelines and regulations

The Successful Applicant
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of construction experience
- Enthusiasm to do retail and light commercial projects
Nice to Haves:
- 4 year degree
- Estimating experience
- Ground up experience
- Ability to handle large pipelien of projects
