Talent Acquisition Partner

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition specialist who will partner with their Head of Operations and Operations managers, accountable for delivering and supporting in attracting and nurturing the best talent across the business both internally and externally, making GAIL’s the best place to work and grow in the industry.

Attraction & Engagement

• Working closely with Operations Managers in your region to attract, recruit and retain the very best management talent.
• Building relationships with candidates through storytelling, helping the outside world understand what a career at GAIL’s looks and feels like
• Running monthly Talent training for our new and existing managers to upskill the recruitment at bakery level
• Managing our ATS and social attraction campaigns to positively impact the candidate journey and making our recruitment experience efficient and effect for all involved
• Consistently reviewing and evolving our recruitment model making sure we are bringing to life experiences not processes
• Monthly meetings with our ATS provider to explore future development of our ATS
• Running social attraction campaigns through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Careers page and other avenues of social engagement
• Monthly reporting on Talent data to help shape the future of our talent offering

Succession Planning

• Working alongside Operations Managers to devise clear headcount and succession planning strategies within your area
• Having regular monthly succession planning meetings with your Operations Managers to ensure clear visibility of Talent and recruitment needs within your area
• Supporting our teams with internal growth and opportunities
• Creating strong working groups with both L&D and People Partners to make sure we have a consistent aligned approach to people whilst championing Rise with GAIL’s for everyone

New Bakery Openings

• Supporting the wider Talent team with attraction strategies to successfully deliver our bakeries with a fully resourced team ahead of opening dates
• Driving conversation around internal movement and succession planning to support our future openings whilst giving growth opportunities to our current teams
• Deep diving into local recruitment solutions, reviewing data and insight to steer strategy

Rise with GAIL’s – Talent progression

• Running Talent days to assess internal talent and making sure we are growing our people in line with our ambition to achieve a 70/30 split of internal vs external development
• Delivering clear feedback to internal candidates and supporting our managers with their growth to realize their future ambitions
• Supporting all progression requests and facilitating applications to Talent days within your area
• Partnering with your Operations Managers to develop breadheads within your bakeries on their Rise with GAIL’s journey.
• Working with the L&D team to ensure training and development plans are followed up.

And you, the missing ingredient

• Previous experience operating at Talent Partner level within a multi-site, growth environment
• Experience of driving succession planning within an organisation or area.
• Good knowledge and passion for the hospitality industry or consumer facing brands.
• Track record of running recruitment strategies and campaigns across the UK utilizing social media
• Creative, innovative and disruptive in your thought process
• Natural problem solver and strong collaborative approach
• A people person who cares about supporting and growing others
• Positive can do attitude with a good sense of fun
• Strong communicator who is comfortable delivering presentations and insight to multiple layers of stakeholders
• Data driven storyteller who can help drive the Talent and People agenda throughout the business
• Previous experience of building external partnerships to support people into employment
