Design Manager

Irish-owned main contractor seeking an experienced Design Manager, with an Architectural background, to work across a new build care home project in St Johns Wood. As the Design Manager you will be at the forefront of the design process for the project, and your architectural expertise will be crucial in ensuring the project's success.

Having successfully delivered numerous prestigious projects across Ireland, and being in a growth phase in UK, specifically London, they are needing to build their project teams. Our client work across a variety of sectors in including Hotel, Commercial, Retail, Residential, and Healthcare with projects currently ranging £40k - £60k.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the design process from inception to completion
• Integrating architectural vision with practical construction needs
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless design integration
• Ensuring all design aspects align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines
• Overseeing design-related documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborating with the project management team to deliver a high-quality, innovative, and functional care home

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager with a main contractor
• Strong architectural background with a deep understanding of construction design processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholder
• Proficiency in design software and project management tools
