About the Role

Support and manage the key applications within the business particularly, Navision, Business Central, Perfion and E-com Platform (Magento/Sana). Your role will be responsible for the review of existing applications used by the business, and for encouraging change that achieves efficiency, reliability and above all simplicity. You will have a thorough understanding of Navision & BC and how its use and any changes to it will impact all departments in the business.

A key role within the IT and Projects Team and an ideal opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and develop their application and project capabilities. Previous experience supporting or and working with Navision, ideally 2017, is essential.

This is a full-time role based at our office in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross and reports to the IT Application Lead.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot technical issues: You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues that users may encounter while using the software. This includes investigating potential causes, testing solutions, and providing clear and concise instructions to help resolve the issue.
  • Communicate with stakeholders: Your role requires that you communicate effectively with stakeholders both inside and outside the business, keeping them informed about the status of their support tickets and helping them resolve their issues.
  • Documentation: You will be responsible for documenting technical issues and their resolution steps to keep a record of support requests and solutions and communicating them to the relevant third parties/colleagues. This documentation can also be used as a reference tool for future cases. Documenting any identified required changes.
  • User Training: Create best practice and training documentation for each area of the business. Deliver training to new starters.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and updates: As technology and software solutions evolve, you will need to stay up-to-date and informed about the latest advancements, updates, and best practices related to the software solution.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support key applications Nav-2017 & BC.
  • Call Logging, fixing, escalating, and monitoring.
  • Data Management: Config packages to update customer, vendor, product info etc.
  • Analyse the change request and try to map it with system default functionalities & to minimize the customization.
  • QA developments delivered by 3rd party Vendors.
  • Problem solving and investigating knowledge of retail / stock management / product lifecycle.
  • User account administration – RTC roles and permissions
  • Explore how applications can be used better.
  • Troubleshooting the integration issues with 3PL & E-Com (Magento/Sana).

About You

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (Business Central).
  • Familiarity with business continuity principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
