Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Design Manager with a background in hotel and commercial projects to join a reputable construction group in London on a high-profile project in SW1.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process for the construction project, ensuring that all aspects meet the required standards and regulations
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project
• Manage the design team and provide guidance and support as needed
• Review and approve design changes and documentation
• Collaborate with the project management team to align design requirements with project timelines and budget

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in construction phase, particularly in hotel and commercial projects
• Proven track record of successful project delivery as a Design Manager or Technical Manager with a main contractor
• Strong understanding of design principles, building regulations, and construction processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Relevant degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
