SUMMARY
Clear snow from walkways, entrances and common areas. Occasionally perform rooftop snow removal. Assist with parking guests and employees in assigned spaces. On busy days help direct guests to parking spots to maximize parking lot space. Greet guests coming to Grand Targhee. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.
2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
None required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Clear snow from walkways, entrances, and common areas using shovels, snow blowers and machinery
- Occasional rooftop snow removal using required safety equipment
- Sanding public areas where appropriate
- Help maintain order in parking lots. Direct guests and employees to appropriate parking locations.
- Assist with other duties as required
- Exhibit a professional, courteous and friendly attitude at all times
- Flexible working hours. Some job sharing required.
