Department: Campus Services

Salary: Starting from £22,443. Appointments at Grade 2 will receive an additional pensionable supplement to ensure a minimum hourly pay equivalent to £12.00 in line with Voluntary Living Wage.

We have various outlets serving a varied selection of food from pan-Asian to fine dining. You can find out more about our outlets on our website.

Demonstrating a passion for cooking high quality food, ideally you will have previous experience of working as a junior chef. An NVQ in Food Preparation would be a distinct advantage, but full training will be provided. You should be comfortable with working in high pressure and varying environments and have a positive attitude, demonstrating an ability to form effective working relationships with other team members.

As well as your chef skills, we're interested in you and your personality; we need real team players who are keen to learn. This is a busy and challenging role, but we offer great opportunities to progress with our team of talented chefs.

The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working on a 5 out of 7 days per week contract (36.5 hours per week). Please attach your CV.

- are an engaged team player with a commercial kitchen background
- are committed to providing a high standard of food
- are flexible and adaptable, able to work to the requirements of the business

Campus Services New Starter bonus*. In addition to the great benefits Campus Services offers, we can offer you a £1,000 bonus. This is payable the month after successfully passing your six month probation. Please note, this bonus is pro rata for part time roles.
