Ride Control Systems Electrician

Job Description:

• Conduct routine inspections on ride control systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Order parts as necessary for maintenance of ride control systems.
• Maintain and repair ride control systems according to manufacturer, Cedar Fair and state guidelines.
• Perform upgrades and modifications to existing ride control systems when necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments and work with outside contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of ride control systems.
• Attend trainings and meetings to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
• Provide excellent guest service and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related electrical maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with control processors and communication networks used in real-time industrial applications.
• PLC programming and configuration skills.
• Ability to climb and work at heights up to 330 feet.
• Valid driver's license.
