We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team at Estancia Del Norte Hotel in San Antonio, TX. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel floors, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of all hotel floors, including carpets, tile, and hardwood surfaces
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, including vacuums, buffers, and extractors
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
- Respond promptly to guest requests for cleaning services and ensure their satisfaction with the results
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
- Assist with other cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
