Basic Days: £19.29 (38 hours)

OT1: £28.94

OT2: £38.58

Bonus (up to): £1.93

Tax-Free Lodge: £48.16 per day (where applicable)

Periodic Travel: Return rail fare & travel time (where applicable)

Pension

Holidays: 25 days plus public

Duration: Approx 3 years

Working hours/ly 44 hours (Mon-Fri) with expectation of regular overtime as the work scope progresses

Main duties :

• To apply protective coatings to the correct specification and using the correct products

• Check steel adequate from blast profile and surface cleanliness for the application of protective products.
• Check wet pool thickness.
• Check specification to ensure correct product and masking details and overcoat periods.
• Apply coatings use correct equipment.
• Demask steel after applying coating.
• Clean line and equipment.

Qualifications :

One of the following -

• OPITO Level 1 Blaster\Sprayer

• Train the Painter - Protective Coatings Applicator
• ICATS Protective Coatings Applicator
• ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TICA-A01 / TICA-P01

Must also hold

• CCNSG Safety Passport

Experience :

Minimum 2 years' experience in similar industry
