New opportunity for an Engagement Co-coordinator!
Exciting new role - 33.5 hours per week flexible over 7 days

Are you seeking a new challenge? One where you are able to help support and deliver a programme of participation activities/sessions for young people aged between 16-24?

Working for a national provider of supported accommodation for people in need of safety and security this role will be to work with the management team to help provide a programme of activities for young people within the project, ensuring that sessions are dynamic, educational and practical.

The role:

Support and deliver the programme of activities for young people ensuring they provide an opportunity to develop their talents skills and knowledge whilst the young person is on their journey.
This may include sports/fitness, cooking, arts & crafts, money management, external trips, residentials away from service.
Deliver topics that may include diversity, equality and inclusion, hate crime, personal values & beliefs
Look for and review events for the young people to attend and engage with in the local community
Help raise the profile of the young people by establishing relationships with local community services The ideal candidate:

You will ideally have a background in Youth Work or experience of working with and setting up learning programmes for young people
Have a creative flair and be able to engage with and encourage positive outcomes for young people
Be flexible in your work as this role will require an element of day support, evenings and some weekends
Be very organised and have excellent communication skills both orally and written.
Resilient and proactive, firm but fair.
Bring talents or experiences which may include writing skills, photography, Art etc Benefits:
