Are you passionate about delivering a high quality service? Is the attention in the detail? If so, then this maybe the job role for you! We are looking for an excellent IT Assistant to join our team.
The IT Assistant is a part time, fixed term role working 30 hours per week across Monday to Thursday. Due to the nature of the project, the role will be for a 6 month fixed term initially.
Whilst this post is based in Peterborough – we know that work is something you do not just a place you go. At Mencap we give office-based colleagues and teams more flexibility about where the work is done.
The Assistant will be accountable for their individual contribution to the team delivery of the “Landline Switch Off” project. Working closely with the Remote Sites team within IT to ensure all relevant tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales. The Assistant will liaise with user’s and 3rd party suppliers to support the successful network upgrades to Full Fibre technology.

Excellent computer literacy
Data entry
clear communicator on both the telephone and via email
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Excellent organisational skills & time management
