We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as an Environmental Manager You will be instrumental in managing all of the environmental issues on our M27 Junction 10 National Highways project in Hampshire. Your responsibilities will include facilitating compliance with legislative, corporate, and other requirements in relation to the environment, supporting the prevention of pollution, protecting the environment (including biodiversity), and reducing waste.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and company requirements.
Support site teams and the business in environmental and sustainability aspects.
Conduct internal audits (ISO 14001:2004) and support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.
Provide training and presentations across all levels of the organization.
Build strong working relationships internally and externally.About you
Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
Affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (CIWM).
Internal Auditor (ISO 14001:2004) with experience in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.
NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management (DipEM) or an environmental degree.
Experience across a range of construction disciplines (civils, building, etc.) is beneficial.
Excellent presentation, written, analytical, and IT skills.
