Internship in China - Guest Relations Officer

Location: China (Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Hangzhou...)
Working Place: Premium Hotel Chains (Hilton, Kempinski, Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Intercontinental, Sheraton, and many others)
Duration: 5.5 to 6 months
Workdays: 5/7, 40 hours/week

Description:
As a Front Office Intern, you will handle general administrative tasks and assist in the daily management of the Front Office department. You will provide friendly service over the phone and upon guests' arrival, manage reception requests, and find suitable solutions to meet guests' needs. You will be trained to perform all necessary guest arrival and departure operations (check-in/check-out).
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily reception administration, including answering phone calls and emails
- Respond to guest inquiries and direct them to appropriate contacts for further assistance
- Coordinate with other departments (security, housekeeping, accounting, F&B, etc.)
- Report any maintenance issues in the lobby to the reception manager
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain facility usage
- Supervise daily reception operations
- Ensure guests receive quality service
- Resolve service-related issues promptly
- Assist other departments when short-staffed
Profile:
- Minimum age of 18
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Mandarin proficiency is not mandatory but advantageous
- Interest in international relations and luxury hospitality
