We are looking for an Inventory Integrity & Data Controller/Analyst to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:


Key Responsibilities

* The inventory data controller / analyst will be responsible for the Stock Integrity and accuracy, this includes Stock counts, investigating discrepancies, finding causes, reducing shrinkage.

* Making sure the quality of the data used within the inventory system and the reporting on all aspects of the warehousing operation

* This includes, but not limited to, Stock Items, Warehouse Configuration, Customer Records, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Pricing Lists & Stock Takes.

* This will involve data extracts and uploads into the inventory system including creating reports using SQL

* The role will be expected to manage and develop working relationships with the key internal customers of the inventory system, troubleshoot and resolve issues reported and work in conjunction with it the IT teams to ensure a reliable and consistent inventory system.

* The role will involve weekly, monthly, and annual summaries related to sales, inventory stock levels, expiring items and stock values.

* It will require developing new reports and dashboards where appropriate to deliver relevant time critical information to the inventory team and senior management.

* The role will be critical in the planning and testing of upgrades to the inventory software, interfaces and handheld devices.

* The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of the key functions of Inventory and Warehouse management from Order Placement through order picking to delivery and stock replenishment.

* To be successful in this role you will require experience of managing and reporting on the data in an inventory system and knowledge and any experience of OrderWise Inventory Management would be an advantage.

* Advance level experience in using Microsoft Excel to extract, reformat & export data is essential.

* Experience in SQL will be an advantage

* Experience and exposure to a reporting tool for the presentation of reports would be preferred but not essential, training can be provided.

* Any knowledge of data structures within an inventory system will be a distinct advantage.

* Working with inventory team to support warehouse operations.

* Work closely with IT, Purchasing, Finance & Housekeeping

* This role will be single point of contact for all Inventory related queries

* Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient stock handling and storage practices.

* Communicate inventory status and issues to relevant stakeholders

* This role also required to visit other sites


Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

* 5 years plus experience in Data management, inventory Software management, or a similar role.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).SQL is desirable

* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Clean Driving license is desirable as will be visiting other sites

* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse inventory data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

* Attention to Detail: Ensure high accuracy in data entry and inventory record maintenance.

* Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

* Technical Proficiency: Adept at using inventory management software and other relevant technologies.

* Communication Skills: Effectively communicate inventory status and issues to various stakeholders.
