Paragon Home Healthcareis looking for aDay Shift Support Carerfor a wonderful client based inthames ditton, surrey KT7area. You will be working with a lady, who hasMNDand is not able to communicate verbally so useseye gazeto do this.

She loves chatting and laughing with her carers and needs time to get messages across using her eye gaze system. She alsoloves being outdoorswhen she can get out with her family and her family mean a lot to her. She used to loveplaying tennis,readingscience fiction books andcookingfor her family. She listens toaudiobooksand love towatch filmswith her carers. You will be working on 8 hour day shift to support the lead live-in carer.

With this client, you'll be engaged in a Rota of 3-4 or more shifts per week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota,working conveniently from home.To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.

Job type: Day Shift - 9 AM-5 PM (8 hrs)

Pay rate- £16.76per hour(weekday) &£20.11per hour(weekend)

Care Job Overview

As a Carer (sometimes referred to as a Personal Assistant), you will assist the client with daily care, activities of daily living, and mobility needs. Specific duties will be detailed in the Client's care plan and daily activities, managed through our electronic visit system. Responsibilities include personal care, spinal injury toileting, mobility support, meal preparation, and more. Comprehensive training and support are provided to ensure you can deliver the necessary care.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record the client's health status.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Ensure the client's safety.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Notify clients of changes in medications.
• Arrange transportation for client appointments.
