Our Cruise Plus business is growing and we are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated Cruise Product Executive to support our proposition in ocean, luxury, expedition and river cruising,

As a Cruise expert, youll ensure the products we offer are accurately represented and information is readily available for both our travel agent partners and our internal cruise sales consultants. This will include pricing and ensuring speed to market of new products and offers.

You will be a key contact in our Cruise Team, helping to understand and overcome barriers to sale, as well as supporting with pricing, brochures, cruise product training, competitor analysis, marketing activity and supplier relationships.

This role can be based at our Leyland (Lancashire) office on a hybrid basis, or remotely with at least 2 days per month in the office.

Job Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate representation of the cruise product across all distribution media, ensuring content and copy is accurate
  • Calculate competitive cruise package prices and offers
  • Product selection and pricing for marketing initiatives and tactical offers
  • Ensure offers are ready to promote through marketing channels and communicated to the sales centre, marketing and agency sales teams
  • Work with the cruise lines to ensure brand requirements are met, with exchange of information on performance and opportunities
  • Support reviews of current trading and sales performance
  • Competitor analysis
  • Identify opportunities for new cruise product, unique itineraries and ship launches
  • Review customer satisfaction to ensure our portfolio meets or exceeds our quality criteria and customer expectations
  • Enhance your own cruise knowledge at every opportunity and increase cruise product knowledge across the business.

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Excellent cruise product knowledge
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a tour operator
  • Able to develop strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best deals
  • An understanding of ground contracts (hotels, tours, car hire) and airfares
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Great communication skills verbal and written
  • Highly organised able to work under pressure and at a fast pace to tight deadlines
  • Able to work on your own initiative and contribute positively to the team environment
  • Competent in the use of MS office packages, GDS and other reservation platforms
  • A passion for achieving results with the resilience and determination to achieve success
