About the Role

An acclaimed restaurant in Central London is seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to join their Kitchen Brigade. They offer a contemporary British menu that is simple yet elegant, using the finest products from the British Isles.

You will be joining an exciting and dynamic team, working closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional food. You will manage the kitchen, train chefs, and help create new dishes, demonstrating expertise in all sections of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks and leading the staff in managing all food-related functions.
• Work to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
• Guide and develop the restaurant chefs through educational or training programs and classes.
• Maximize financial performance and supervise all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced.
• Ensure sanitation and food standards are met.
• Oversee all food preparation and support areas.
• Review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience, including a fine dining background in awarded restaurants or 5-star hotels.
