Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality pastry dishes in line with the restaurants standards
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and operational, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Manage and train junior pastry staff, ensuring their development and progression
- Maintain stock levels and order new supplies as required
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or demi/commis in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Exceptional skills and a creative flair for new recipe development
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
