Qualifications & Experience

- Some knowledge of IT systems, networks, and communications wiring is desirable, but not essential.

- A keen interest in technology.

- Ideally some exposure to control systems, telecommunications, automation or integrated systems.

- 18th Edition & CSCS card would be an advantage, but not essential

- Either apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant trade skills training in a related field such as IoT, telecommunications, electrical installation, plumbing & heating systems or instrumentation.

- You should have a working knowledge of fault-finding techniques, including using electrical test equipment, reading schematic drawings, tracing cables & pipework etc to investigate and diagnose problems.

- Must have your own transport and be prepared to work away from home on a regular basis.

- Basic knowledge of central heating plumbing, hot water systems and/or cooling systems would be an advantage.

You will be responsible for:

- Working as part of a team to deploy IoT systems in commercial buildings and facilities around the UK.

- Visiting customer sites, to identify and record the status of equipment and systems. Recording information in a structured format, for central storage.

- Providing support to customers and to other members of the team.

- Travelling to customer sites around the UK, as well as working from our central office location. You should expect to be working at remote locations at least 3 or 4 days per week.
