Project Architect

We're seeking a licensed Project Architect to join our team! In this role, you'll oversee every aspect of architectural design, production, and project management for small to mid-sized commercial projects. You'll manage several projects concurrently, each at various stages of design. Additionally, you'll collaborate with project consultants and our in-house engineering teams. Pay DOE: $54-$65/hour

Project Architect Responsibilities:

• Client interface and coordination
• Drive design, production, and delivery of projects
• Guide the design team through the construction documentation and permit approval process
• Conduct code compliance and quality control reviews of projects
• Coordinate with consultants during all project phases
• Ensure design control and construction administration of projects
• Assist in the improvements of firm-wide documentation procedures and standards
• Support project management in staffing, fee estimating and scheduling
• Assist with proposals/budget development and project status updates
• Provide technical guidance to project staff and share expertise and knowledge within the firm

Project Architect Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture preferred
• Registered Architect in good standing required, NCARB preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on all phases of architectural design, production and delivery and management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Revit - 3D rendering knowledge is a plus
• Site Planning experience and strong design skills
• Experience in a variety of projects (i.e. retail, commercial, industrial, multi-family, and mixed-use)
• Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
