Head Waiter/waitress

Vermilion, a renowned luxury establishment known for opulent design and culinary expertise, is seeking a skilled Head Waiter / Waitress to join our dynamic team.

As a Head Waiter at Vermilion, you will be responsible for supervising the service with the team, ensuring a quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate must be full-time and have a minimum of 4 year experience in this role.

Role & Responsibilities:

Liaise with the Managers on a daily basis, as to requirements or changes of the daily operation eg staffing, table plans, and lay-up, menu and standards.

Daily liaise with chefs with regards to changes in the menu, daily availability and allergens for the menu and specials

Assist in welcoming and seating of guests when required.

To supervise all preparation and service of customer needs

To co-ordinate the kitchen and the service during meal service

To be fully conversant with the menu and wine list.

Must have knowledge of wine and service.

To ensure that employees carry out the daily mise en place, cleaning schedule and to maintain the operation to the highest standard

To contribute to the building of team spirit within the department

To take equal responsibility for training within the department in liaison with the managers.
